Congratulations to those that took part in the Regional Surf Competition on Thursday the 11th of August.

There is unspoken pressure taking the MRSHS Surf Team to the South-West Regional Competition after winning 16 state-titles in a row. This pressure is amplified when the schools’ top 8 surfers can’t surf due to sponsor commitments in Indonesia, Mark Richards Surf Camps, Lane Beachley Surf Camps and representing the WA in individual competitions interstate. To put this into context, we don’t normally have Year 7 students compete at these events. Yesterday we had 6 students from Year 7 represent MRSHS and numerous kids had to surf up into senior divisions.

Yesterday’s results are below, and we would like to send them praise for their results and behaviour yesterday. The competitors represented the school with pride. We took out all division except the Junior boys.
