Year 11 student Kallan Sherwood was recently awarded the Gold Medal for the State Division of WorldSkills Competition for Commercial Cookery. Kallan has undertaken training at SR TAFE in 2017 under the guidance and expertise of Amanda Smith and her team. He completed this while also studying his WACE/ATAR course at school this year. Kallan has been invited to compete at the Nationals in Sydney in June 2018.
