The annual Margaret River SHS Technologies and Arts show displayed the culmination of this year’s work in Woodwork, Photography, Metalwork, Fine Art and Food Studies. CoViD restrictions did not deter a crowd of over 180 people from enjoying an evening admiring student work, tasting carefully presented food and the school wine, and piano entertainment. The exhibition was opened by local artist Jenny Barr who gave an inspiring speech. Special thanks go to the Margaret River Heart for the support given to the school, and the teachers of Technologies and the Arts for setting up the exhibition. We are so lucky in Margaret River to be able to celebrate our students’ work with our community in this manner.

Thanks to those that came to support at the celebration last Friday.
Another success for MRSHS! I would like to acknowledge the efforts of the The Arts staff and Technologies staff for their efforts in fostering, motivating and inspiring the students with their works on display as well as the organisation and the setting up for the event and the pull out later this week. It takes many to enable such an event to occur and it takes those same people major effort for it to be a success.
