At last week’s student council meeting, Willem Healy was recognised as the first student councillor with 55 hours of community service. Willem’s incredible zeal to run the school’s Containers for Change program is second to none. He spends most of his recess and lunchtimes going through the school bins to hunt for 10c containers. It is thanks to his efforts that the school has collected several hundred dollars already. The student council would like to put renewed effort into the recycling and waste separation programs, creating bin banks in all bag rack areas around the school. Willem champions this effort. Thank you, Willem for being a true leader and inspiration at our school.
