Yesterday 41 students from years 7-12 represented MRSHS at the South West Interschool Swimming Carnival. All swimmers put in an amazing effort and we are super proud of their results. It was fantastic to see the sportsmanship displayed and the willingness of all the competitors to fill every race. As a school we came 4th overall which was awesome, considering most of our swimmers haven’t had access to a pool for quite some time! A huge congratulations to Archie O’Beirne for coming Champion Boy in the year 10 Division, he was up against some tough competitors. Thanks to all staff who attended and our year 12 Sport and Rec students who were busy doing the timing for the day. It’s great to see Carnivals back after a few years.
