The 2021 ANZAC Day School service took place on Friday afternoon, 23 April. The whole school gathered in the gym to attend to a ceremony organised and conducted by the student council and the Emergency Service Cadets. It was very moving to be part of over 1100 people, all reflecting in silence about the importance of that day. In their ANZAC Day address, Head Students Sasha Hughes and Rhya Hackett focussed on the plight of women who helped to keep the nation together in times of crisis. The student leaders gathered on Sunday and together with the Cadets represented the school in the community ANZAC Day march and commemoration. A special thanks to all students that want to serve the school community by giving up their time and effort for the betterment of all. Thank you also to staff members Wendy Coffey, Martin Keen and Carolyn Ralph for their preparatory work with the students and their commitment to the ANZAC Day tradition at our school.
