The final free dress day of 2020 made the school a colourful and happy place. The gold coins collected by the student councillors in the morning added up to $520; another outstanding fund-raising effort. The money was donated at lunchtime to Madison Harper, the coordinator of headspace Bunbury. Madison drove down from Bunbury to receive the money at lunchtime from the senior student councillors. Headspace Margaret River is linked to headspace Bunbury which is a service tailored for the local community. The office is situated at 36 Station Road, Margaret River. Headspace Margaret River supports young people 12 – 25 with mild to moderate mental health concerns and/or substance use issues, along with their family and friends. No referral is needed and all services are free. Madison was overjoyed with the generosity of our school community and is looking forward to the emerging partnership of service provision with the school.
