Hannah loves leadership
HANNAH Newstead of Margaret River Senior High School has been selected to participate in the Sir Charles Court Young Leaders Program in Perth.
Twenty-five students across the state – each from a different school – will attend the four-day program in July where they will be exposed to inspirational and challenging speakers and situations.
“I said coming from a rural town makes me different,” Hannah said.
Hannah said her leadership experience also helped impress judges.
Teacher Michael Caudle said MRSHS students selected in the past have gone on to work in successful leadership roles, including Alex Temby, who has worked as principal policy adviser to WA Premier Colin Barnett, and lawyer Roxanne Moore.
