National Reconciliation Week started on Saturday 27th May and the theme for 2023, Be a Voice for Generations, encourages all Australians to be a voice for reconciliation in tangible ways in our everyday lives – where we live, work and socialise.
Students and staff from MRSHS attended the City of Bunbury Reconciliation Walk on Friday, walking from the Wardandi Boodja statue at Koombana bay, crossing the Koombana Bridge and meeting at the Graham Bicknell Music Shell for a welcome, sharing of stories, barbecue and community stalls. Thank you to all involved in organising and offering this opportunity to our students.
