MRSHS budding filmmaker, Year 10 student – Joshua Yates worked with crew members Seth Weadley and Asher Muir to make the 5-minute film ‘Alone’. It won second prize in the 2022 Cinefest Oz – Cinesnaps competition on Thursday the 25th of August.
Congratulations to Josh, Seth and Asher. Huge thanks to Cinefest Oz organisers. Special thanks to local filmmaker Mike Dunn. Joshua attended Mike’s amazing workshops at The Studio Margaret River early in the year. Working with Mike played a big part in the inspiration and learning Josh needed for his project. Mike helped Joshua incorporate special effects into ‘Alone’
