The 2018 Student Leadership and Humanities book award was given to the students that participated in a variety of leadership activities, particularly the Voice public speaking competition in October.
Angus Creaney, James Ransley, Fletcher Morrison, Saffron Sgroi, Jasmine Yates, Sarah Wake, Trisha Shinde, Sasha Hughes, Sam Iles and Maia Sheridan-Hulme received a copy of the inspirational book ‘Homo Deus. A brief history of tomorrow’ by Israeli History professor Yuval Noah Harari.
These student have demonstrated their dedication to student leadership and extra-curricular activities, personal development and humanities throughout the year.
The books were presented by Mike Caudle, Head of Department, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Languages.
