Taiwan Web Conference

During Term Two, Year 10 students studying Asian Languages engaged in online exchanges with students from our sister schools in Taiwan, JuangJing VHS and JuiFang VHS.

With JuangJing VHS, the focus of the exchange centred around indigenous cultures in Australia and Taiwan, including sharing Dreamtime stories and Aboriginal painting traditions.

Meanwhile, in collaboration with JuiFang VHS, students from both schools participated in hands-on activities such as making Vegemite and Fairy bread toasts, showcasing Australian culinary delights. In return, the Taiwanese students demonstrated the preparation of Miner food culture and Dragon Boat Festival, providing insights into their own culinary practices.
