In a year that has further solidified Margaret River Senior High School’s reputation for academic excellence, we are thrilled to celebrate the exceptional achievements of the Class of 2024 in the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) assessments. The hard work, resilience, and dedication of both students and staff have once again culminated in outstanding results.
Leading the achievements is Will Dallimore, the 2024 Dux and top ATAR student, with a remarkable score of 98.75. Will’s performance places him 3rd in the state for rural public schools and 13th overall among rural students. Closely following Will is Tiki Goodall, who attained an impressive ATAR of 98.25. Reflecting on his success, Will expressed his gratitude to the staff, saying, “The support from teachers at Margaret River Senior High School was instrumental in helping the Class of 2024 achieve our goals. Their encouragement and guidance throughout the years made all the difference.”
Of the 44 students who attained an ATAR in 2024, four achieved scores of 95 or greater, placing them in the top 5% of students statewide. Seventeen students achieved an ATAR of 90 or above, and 28 students attained 80 or higher. When including the Regional Bonus, the results are even more remarkable, with 23 students receiving an equivalent ATAR of 90 or above, representing 52% of the cohort. These results firmly place Margaret River Senior High School among the top 20 schools in the state, marking yet another year of outstanding academic outcomes.
